Questions families ask
Is the memorial really free, forever?
Yes. We don't take memorial pages down for non-payment. Free tier covers the basic page with photos and tributes, hosted forever. Upgrades unlock anniversary reminders, more photos, and other extras — but the page itself is always free.
Can my whole family contribute?
Anyone with the link can submit a tribute or light a candle, no sign-in needed. Lifetime plans add up to 3 family members as co-editors who can add photos and edit the bio with you.
What about Hindu rituals and tithi?
Anniversary reminders match both the Gregorian date and the Hindu tithi (e.g. Krishna Saptami). Reminders go out 7, 3, 1 days before, and on the day, by email.
Who can see the memorial?
You choose: Public (anyone with the link, indexed on Google), Unlisted (anyone with the link, hidden from search), or Private (only you and co-editors). You can change visibility anytime.
What happens to the page if Atulya shuts down?
We commit to a 90-day notice period and an export of every memorial's content (photos + bio + tributes) before any wind-down. Your memories stay yours.
